Starting Sept. 27, we’re moving our services to in front of the steps of the FLC hoping for a sunnier location (weather permitting).
They will remain at 9 AM. You can stay in your cars or bring your yard chairs. (The buildings will remain closed.)
Facemasks required.  We will practice social distancing and follow recommended guidelines. Rain or shine we will be streaming our services on Facebook LIVE at 9 AM! Our Facebook site is “Christ United Methodist Church Rocks!”.

Topic Sentence:  On this life-long journey, we need to practice faithful stewardship.  Rest transforms your body, mind, and soul.  Self-care is a part of stewardship.  Self-Care Isn’t Selfishness, it is stewardship.

Topic Sentence:  Ecclesiastes is filled with the storms of life, from birth to death, the challenge is how you handle them.  The metaphors of weather help us understand how natural and normal all feelings are when dealing with the storms of life.

Topic Sentence:  Critters are a bridge between us and the beauty of God’s creation.  They show us what’s missing in our lives, and how to love ourselves more completely and unconditionally by connecting us back to who we are to be and our purpose.

Topic Sentence: Creation always points us in that direction of fruitfulness, opening our awareness, opening our eyes. We are trees firmly planted in the  righteousness of God, yielding fruits of the Holy Spirit, with leaves that do not wither, growing in love and grace of Jesus Christ.  Wisdom of a tree.
